About this Student

My name is Marco and I live in a beautiful house in the outskirts of the capital of Spain with my parents, my older sister and my younger brother.

I’m a very lucky boy because I still have all my grandparents. We like to visit them very often and enjoy going with my cousins to the Tennis Club, where I have many friends and play many sports, especially tennis. I love spending time with my family. We like sports, travelling, meeting friends, and doing BBQs on Sundays! In our summer holidays, we go to our family house in the south of Spain. We go to the beach, practice tennis, golf, water sports and have long dinners. Skiing is also one of my favorite sports!

I play soccer in my town. We train three days per week and play the matches at weekends. Last year we won the soccer league in my town! Nowadays, I am learning to play golf. I am practicing the first lessons and for the moment I like it very much.

I’m very excited to have the opportunity to spend a year with your family in the United States. I can’t wait to meet you and learn about your culture, traditions, and American gastronomy cuisine. Since I was very young, I have always been an enthusiast of your country. I’m also looking forward to making new friends at my new school and participating in extracurricular activities. In this aspect, I really think I can give you another international point of view and share many hobbies together.
