About this Student

My name is Gitte. This is an opportunity that I have been dreaming of for a very long time. I´m a very curious girl, so I really enjoy learning new things every day. That´s one of the reasons why I wanted to go on exchange, because it is a whole new experience where I can learn and explore a lot of new things. Getting to know a lot of new people and making new friends is something that I look forward to in my exchange.

Dancing is one of my hobbies. I really enjoy dancing. I take three dance classes per week. Two hip-hop classes and one modern dance class. I always dance in a team. I have a few other hobbies: shopping, travelling, and skiing. I’m a sporty person overall, so almost everything that involves something with sports is something that I really like.

I’m very excited about getting to know the full American experience. In this experience I get to be a part of a family and I get to be fully involved by the real American life. And that is something that I really look forward to experience. I wanted to go to USA much rather than any other country, because it is so different than the Netherlands. I’m very excited about seeing all the differences and to experience them. I also think that the USA is a country full of possibilities and that is something that suits me.
